Big Charity Partner
At Greenacres, we are proud to be part of the community. Our families, pupils and staff show generosity and connection every day, and our fundraising model builds on this spirit.
By giving each year group one clear fundraising event per term, we create a simple structure that allows everyone to take part without pressure. This approach helps our children learn that helping others is part of who we are at Greenacres and part of what it means to belong to a community and the wider world, it teaches empathy, pride and responsibility in a way that feels real and relevant.
Our fundraising events strengthen the character skills that sit at the heart of our Greenacres Big Curriculum. Through authentic experiences pupils learn;
- kindness
- teamwork
- leadership
- empathy
Our children can see the impact of their choices and understand how individual actions contribute to the well-being of others. These experiences build confidence and resilience while encouraging children to feel proud of themselves and their community.
