Greenacres

Greenacres is a mainstream primary school which also has two Local Authority provisions;

  • The Speech Bubble - a designated provision for children with developmental language delay
  • The Orchard - a local authority resource provision for children with an autistic spectrum condition and complex needs

These groups of children, although taught in separate classes, usually forms approximately 18% of the children in the school and their attainment is included in the published levels of attainment for the whole school.

In order to compare the school in this respect with other mainstream schools, it is necessary to take into account the levels of attainment of children in the mainstream classes only.
