Home Learning
Welcome to the Greenacres Learning Portal!
We do lots of amazing learning at school but the learning doesn’t stop at the end of the day! The best learners carry on learning whenever they can, and this page has lots of ideas and resources that you could use to help you.
This section of our website has been put together to help support families if their child is at home, nothing contained here is compulsory; it is intended that families will use the resources as flexibly as they wish.
Teachers post opportunities for home learning on Google classroom;
- knowledge organisers and theme letters let you know what is being covered during the half term
- there are also resources for parents to use to support children with English and Maths.
Every child has their login for Google classroom but If you need help, contact the school office at office@greenacres.org and they will be able to support you.
All children have been given their personal login details to the following online learning platforms, which are used in class and at home regularly.
Through these learning platforms, the children will be able to complete tasks that have been set by their class teacher and are given the opportunity to review and practise other key concepts.
Below are some websites you may find useful. We do not promote just the use of tablets, smartphones or computers and encourage sensible choices about screen time for your child.
