We achieve this through an active partnership with parents where their views and ideas are welcomed, together with the full involvement of the local community and all agencies attached to Children’s Services. This is demonstrated by the extensive work in the school to support the whole family and the extension of this into our Children’s Centre, which is accessed by many members of the local community.

We believe that children learn in a variety of ways and so take every opportunity to provide them with a range of experiences at school and in different environments. The success of this approach can be seen in the enjoyment of the children’s learning and their understanding of the needs of others.

Greenacres is a fully extended school where children enjoy many different out of hours activities and parents are able to access fully qualified childcare from 8am to 6pm for 48 weeks of the year.
